Our Story
In 2020, we did design work (as we are mostly a graphic design agency) for Classic Canvas Co. a manufacturer of industrial lift bags used to haul tools and materials 500 feet up turbine towers. In exchange for our work, they provided us with 100 bags; we re-designed, re-sized, simplifying and refining for everyday use. We then worked on 100 different color combinations - as a design and color study – not as a business venture, but as a creative exploration (see below ︎).
We gave bags away to friends and colleagues and sold some at pop-up events. The response was unanimous: these bags were hit. Everyone who carries one reports being asked about it – where they got it, what's the story. We didn't set out to create a business, but the market kept asking us to.
